Email me today for an information pack.
The Saleabration stamp set i have used is Vintage labels and i hope that as you scroll down you will learn something new.
My name is Kerri and I have been a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator for almost 4 years. I have a small team of Demonstrators in the Ballarat, Melbourne, Geelong, Warrnambool, Bendigo and South Australian areas. We enjoy spending time together creating and learning from each other. Some of us run successful businesses and some are here to add discounted products to their craft supplies.
ESAD is a yahoo group run by Australian Stampin’Up! Demonstrators. We have Cyber stamps, challenges, Swaps and its a great place to just drop by and chat. The support there is awesome for any stampin’Up! Demonstrators in Australia so whether you want to go over there and just have fun or you want some business assistance its the place to be.
Well you should have come here via Karen Dillon but if you haven’t thats okay you will still catch up with Karens post before you are finished.
If you leave a comment on each blog and send an email to Leonie at leonie@stamp-a-latte.com when you are completed to let her know you have commented on each and every blog (thats quite a few you know) then you will go in the draw for some great prizes.
Today I have a tutorial on how to create a lovely gift bag using Stampin’Up! Designer Series Papers and other Stampin’Up! products including stamps from the Vintage Labels stamp set (thats one of the FREE ones)
What you will need:
Eyelet or scallop Edge Punch
2 sheets of Designer Series Papers 12×12
Sticky Strip
Paper Trimmer with scoring blade
Ribbon
4 Jumbo Brads
Crop-o-dile
Ribbon
Extra cardstock and DSP for decoration
I Made these bags for last nights Launch attendees and they loved them. They went home with a bag full of goodies and created a free make and take and learned how to do a technique called reflection. If you are from the Ballarat area maybe you would like to contact me at 0419990499 and come along to some of my classes.
STEP ONE:
The pattern you want to be on the outside of your bag should be face down on your desk.
*Take one piece of the 12×12 DSP and score at 1/2″, 2 1/4″ and 4″ *Turn your DSP 90 degrees and score at 2 1/4″ as shown on the plain DSP.
*Take your 2nd piece of 12×12 DSP and do the same as the 1st one EXACTLY
NOTE: Scores should be to the right side as shown.
On the left side you need to fold the corner up to the score line as shown.
On the 2nd piece of 12×12 you will need to do SAME.
STEP THREE:

This next step is a little difficult and you will need to look closely at the pic.
This is the reason i have used a small piece of plain cardstock and drawn on it for you to see.
Place sticky strip on the right side along the full length of the 12×12 DSP. As close to the 1/2″ Score line as possible.
Should be on the side which will be the outside of your bag
Do this for both pieces of DSP.
Now to see what your folds should look like on your DSP.

STEP 6:
Remove the backing on the sticky strip and adhere to your 2nd piece of DSP as shown.
Remove the backing from the sticky strip on your 2nd piece of DSP and adhere both pieces together. The bottom of your bag should look as shown in this pic.
Where there is still sticky stip you will fold them into the score line and adhere.
Cut a piece of matching cardstock at 3.5″ x 7 7/8″ and adhere to the inside of your bag.
Decorate your bag top as desired

I have used Stampin’UP! Certainly Celery.
Here are the photos of the finished bags that were given out at my Sale-a-bration launch. They included a sample of 6X6 DSP, A Voucher Book, A gift pack with some of the WICKED SCENT products inside and a saleabration catalogue.
Thanks so much for dropping by and reading to the bottom now you will want to head on over to the next stop on your blog hop which is going to take you on a visit to visit Kris.
