Needing to Challenge Ourselves

The few of you :) who regularly visit my blog have probably noticed that i have been very quiet on the creative front.

Well there is an excuse for that. It’s that I have lost my will to create.  I have always used my creativity as a way to leave the real real world and step into a special little world that sends me into a realm that nobody else can step into.  Its where i can create to inspire my customers, my team, my fellow demonstrators and you my blog readers.  But what about ME i have forgotten that i also need to create for me.

I had a space of time where i forced myself to stop being a stampin up demonstrator and that time has proved to take away my inspiration to create. My love for creating is missing, I don’t know where it has gone but i am trying to find it and find my life again but this has proved to be difficult.

WHY?
Well the real world has stepped into my creative world and has made me feel that i cannot attempt to create or write on my blog without saying or doing something that may prove to be the downfall of my life as i see it now.

My Stampin Up business has given me the opportunity to meet the most amazing people and they are my customers (MY FRIENDS), my team (MY FRIENDS) and other Demonstrators (MY FRIENDS).  Without these people i don’t think if would be able to function at this time.

Gees i can ramble and at this stage over the past few weeks i have deleted my post and just posted the DEAL OF THE WEEK but i am still here and hope that you are too. I am not sure that you want to listen to anymore so i will get on with what i was here for in the first place and that is the card i created for the splitcoast stampers Clean and Simple Challenge.
Do you ever have a mental block and you need that something to inspire you to actually create or do something? Well thats what i think i needed and this is the card i came up with for the challenge CAS72. I think it came up quite nicely for someone who has lost their motivation.

The colours were inspired by a swap i received at the stampin up convention from Tina white in May this year.
I have used the Autumn Days stamp set, Autumn Harvest rubons and Autumn Traditions DSP.
Colours are Rich Razzleberry, Not quite Navy and So Saffron.

Stunning, the colours are just lovely, they go so well together. The layout is clean and simple and you have added elegance as well. Love it :-)

  2. Kerri I love this card and I love the papers and set. The papers are so nice and rich in colour. I know youre going through a rough time right now and I want you to know that we are all here for you now and in the future when things turn around and youre back into your creating groove. I too thank Stampin’ Up! for bringing such wonderful people into my life – like you! Big hugs honey xx
